We’re celebrating a major milestone today. This afternoon our in-country coordinator Samuel finally completed on the purchase of a small property and building plot on the outskirts of Freetown. This plot will provide Samuel, his four children and his three orphaned nephews an unprecedented level of security after the family was devastated by Ebola in the recent outbreak. The next step for them is to build sufficient accommodation for them all. This is something to aim for with the vision of MWK, educating disadvantaged kids first and foremost, but also trying to create holistic and sustainable improvements to their lives by creating an environment in which they can really prosper.
