Hazlegrove School
We were delighted to receive over £500 this week, from 11 pupils in Year Six at Hazlegrove School in the UK, who walked over 9 miles on Sunday! They overcame some pretty challenging conditions to walk over the Quantock Hills to raise money for two charities. We feel lucky to have been one of them. Huge thanks and congratulations. This impressive sum will make a real difference to the fifty-plus kids whose education we now fund in Sierra Leone. It’s fantastic to see UK pupils raising funds for some very disadvantaged kids in Freetown, many of whom were orphaned by Ebola, and even more of whom contracted but survived the virus. Thank you Year Six at Hazlegrove, and your wonderful teachers!
